A few weeks ago we desperately needed someone to clean the cedar the cedar siding of a building with sixteen years of build up of algae as well as sap from trees. It looked awful.
We approached a few companies. This is when we realized that there are companies willing to do the job but with very little knowledge about power washing cedar siding safely. So, it was time to bring out the big guns.
You were at the Burnaby Housesmart site, and we made our way there. However, you were very busy, and the list of people waiting to see you was long. So I approached your assistant, and she gave me a name, A GLASS ACT.
Arrangements were made and the work was done. It was far beyond our hopes and expectations. It looks beautiful! The workmanship was outstanding. Kirby and his crew were quick, efficient, very polite and very considerate of our tenants.
Oh, I almost forgot, we also had our windows done. Also a fine job!

I have a 25 year old stucco house with Tudor trim. It was never painted and had become very dirty. There were several stains and many large areas with green algae. These stains were present when I bought the house six years ago.
I wanted to get the stucco and Tudor trim painted. I decided to get the house washed first to prepare the surface for painting. I used the referral network on the Internet and called "A Glass Act". Kirby estimated the project and quoted on a complete house washing package (ext. walls, windows, driveway, concrete pad & rock retaining walls).
I am extremely happy with the work. In fact, the stucco looks so good that I am not going to have it painted, just the Tudor trim. This alone will save me a few thousand dollars. I suggest that you advise others to consider a house wash first, then reconsider whether painting is really necessary.

This is just a note to say thank you for a job well done. We appreciated the power washing of the siding, and the nice clean windows. We noted that the clean-up was great, with the special attention you paid to the plants near the house.
We would never have noticed the ridge shingles deterioration had you not inspected them when you cleaned the gutters for us. And we especially were pleased that you took a picture of the situation to show us the need for their replacement.

In April of 2003 Shell Busey's office recommended I contact A Glass Act to quote me for cleaning of my home, decks and rockeries. Kirby Koochin came to the house and quoted the work. A Glass Act was not the lowest bid but the professionalism of the quote and Shell's recommendation caused me to give them the job. I am glad I did because the work was exceptional. The house, and patios are like new, and the Hydro stop applied to the pavers and retaining walls beads as advertised when it rains and is obviously protecting the finish. I will use their service again.
